The songs in this album is so different from the first 2 albums that Casting Crowns has produced. It's in a way more rock, and more of the songs have catchy tunes, for example, What This World Needs. The lead singer, Mark Hall, has once again created stirring anthems that are easily embraced by many people. There are also introspective songs, Slow Fade, in the album. The song, Slow Fade, caution believers to make the right choices in life, though the ending of the song, to me, is a little creepy.
Finally, though the album is different than the previous albums, one similarity that hasn't change is that the lyrics are still full of meaning. Hall has really placed lyrics over tune.
