Believe in the truth

God spoke to me today. On 2 occasions He has comforted me and reminded me of stuff. One of which is my previous post, the 2nd this this. I was doing my devotions and i read this.



" The order of Scripture is to know the truth, believe it, walk according to it, and let your emotions be a product of your obedience. When you believe what you feel instead of the truth, how will your walk be? As inconsistent as your feelings. But when you believe and act on the truth, your feelings will reflect reality. Jesus said, "If you know these things, you are blessed if you do them" (John 13:17)."



=) I am glad i read this.

Coincidental?

I was just stoning. I got bored and went to Eliza's blog. From there I wondered to her friend, Charmaine, blog. From there I click on Daily Devotions. I was reading the devotions, the verse was Romans 3:21-30. I then went to BibleGateway.com to view the whole chapter. After I read it, I experimented with the URL to see how it changes when you search from different verses. I edited to URL to search for Romans 3:21-30, to Proverbs 3:5-30.. Proverbs 3:5-30 was just random. What strucked me was the first 2 verses there, Proverbs3:5, 6. When it appeared, I stared at it for like the longest time. Maybe it wasn't that long but it seemed long to me. I guess i really needed that verse to remind me.



Proverbs 3:5-6 - Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.



A common, well known verse, but it is really important to do so.

Your Plan for Me

Lord, I know You have a plan for me and I know i don't see it. I want to know what You have planned for me. I feel lost many times and question why all these things happen, even though I know i should trust You. I find it so hard at times. Teach me to trust Lord for I know my only hope is in You. Amen.

Zathura, more?

Went to watch Zathura with lucy and elroi today. Was nice. =) yea.. before the movie we like spent so much lar. First went pastamania, then play arcade, then go eat chicken. haha! oh well.. and we took some stupid pictures. =P

Church today was fun. I went to church like at 820am. Haha! super early. yea. oh well. Elroi lead worship today, ethel, eliza, lucy played. =P elroi like just want to get over and done with it like that. And he wake up and came late also lar. =P Anyway, youth was fun! haha! Thanks Evangeline for leading today. =D i can't lead man. yea. then after that Glori lead games! haha! super funny. me and Ad ate like so many mentos. haha! oh well. then played taboo and other stuff also. =) went for lunch with eliza, ethel, belly, james, elroi. then came back for the Christmas skit prac. =P yep. oh well. now at home. going shangjun's house tmr with ethel to rewrite the script. =)

It has been super boring at home man. I have no one to talk to. super boring. And it's during these times when my mind wonders. I need to get out!! I need to occupy myself. I think i acutally have many stuff to do, just that I'm like stuck to my com. haiz.

God, please give me teach me to use my time wisely, for you purpose.

Boring!

Had CrossLink Comm meeting in the morning. Haven't had a comm meeting in a long long time. Haha! =) Decided on a lot of stuff. And the FIRE cd is going to be lauched on the 18th of Dec. Yea! Haha! oh well. after meeting Crystal came my house.. so boring nothing to do. She watced Sky High while I packed my room. So much dust man. Sneezing like crazy now.

Grad Night!

After my Science MCQ today had to rush home man and get ready for grad night. Haha! I think my hair was screwed lar.. but it didnt turn out that bad. Just that it kept going into my eyes. =P oh well. Met Amos at Orchard MRT first.. yea.. then went to Hilton so early lar.. like no one there yet. =P haha! Oh well. During the whole thing, our host was the Kid's Central guy lar.. haha! He made us play so many diff games.. haha! so funny.. got 1 is some best dressed person contest.. =P Russel was one of the few who went up though he didn't win. Haha! There was a video presentation also.. yea.. quite funny.. :P yea.. our class was the most havoc lar.. haha! whole day shouting at the video and at everything.. :P haha! Tim also like threw the food at the buffet.. haha! oh well. I guess today may be the last time i ever were an ACS uniform.. haha! this is the end of my 11 years in ACS. I don't regret anything.. except the fact that i didn't study hard enough.. :P haha! everything else was good.. oh well.. anyway.. i shall show u the best pic of me tonight.. haha!

Trust Him

I have always found it so hard to just trust in God. It's just so hard. But i guess the Lord has taught and reminded me again that I do have to place everything into His hands. Sometimes I try too hard to get something done, and in the end it still doesn't turn out the way I want it to. I choose to trust God this time, and not let my mind wonder into the most weird thoughts that satan can put into my head. This is the 2nd time from my own problems I am about to help Prisci again. :P Hey Prisci, don't think too much about it k? :) Everything's gonna be alright. =) Anyway, I changed my song again. Flying Sticks, Best Ever Played!

last nite slept only 5 and a half hours.. so little... but then, now also not very tired.. haha! didnt do much in the morning except play game.. yea.. CrossLink was good.. :D jonk played today, and terrence was on backup.. yep.. :) good man.. at first i couldnt play properly.. dunno y.. then during the real time.. i did even better than expected.. i like the way jonk did Now that You're Near.. His intro was nice man.. :P oh well.. Crystal did How Great is Our God which linked to How Great Thou Art.. i love that song man.. :P yea.. the alter call was good too.. :) i really just played like, like, i dunno.. i couldnt feel wat i was doing.. it just came like clockwork.. and i could really worship without concentrating on what i was playing.. there was one part which i drop my sticks.. haha! first time i whack till drop.. :) haha! lucky my rods were next to me.. :P hehe! oh well.. :)

Early in the Morning

I have been up since yesterday.. havent slept yet.. :P haha! was playing maple and thinking of stuff.. yea.. oh well.. :P nothing to do now.. playing for CrossLink later.. :) want to sleep now.. yet i dont want to sleep.. at least i dont feel sick like just now after i walked through the rain..

Right or Easy?

Today's history paper i can say, is the best i've ever done.. not because its easy but because i studied.. :) haha! so happy.. oh well.. later went to watch movie with elroi only coz no one else wants to come.. oh well.. went to watch Harry Potter.. yea.. :) we waited so long lar.. coz got nothing to do before the movie... :) The movie was ok.. not very good yet not bad.. yea.. and even though many people, not only christians, think that this set of books by J.K. Rowling is sort of 'satanic' or rather, in a nicer way, lead people away from Christ. The books portray's magic having 2 sides, Good and Evil, when in fact all magic is evil. But that's not the point i want make here.. the point is that even from things not right.. sometimes, there are things to learn.. towards the end of the show.. the professor says to harry.

I believe this is true.. we just have to know wats right.. :P oh well.. on the way home it was just raining heavily.. :P and i just walked through the rain! haha! just felt like it, didnt care abt getting wet or falling sick.. oh well.. its was fun.. and now im falling sick.. hehe!

Always Happens

Have you ever felt like you broke pass the first barrier. Then theres a second barrier. You then fight to break pass it, expecting it to be the last. When you finally break pass it, you realise that there is a third barrier. Sometimes its just frustrating. But i guess God makes it that way for a reason.

My Travels Around SG!

haha! first had tuition in the morning.. then rushed to funan to meet amos, ethel, lucy, james, elroi, gerald.. met Eric and Serene there too.. :) yea.. went to pass the SU form to them.. yea.. haha! later lucy and james went to watch movie.. me, elroi and gerald went to ethel's house.. played bball for a while.. at least sort of.. just shoot some hoops.. too many ppl at the court man.. oh well.. later i went for dental.. wanted to go meet eliza after that.. but got chased away.. tsk tsk.. haha! yea.. went back to ethel's house for dinner.. yep.. crystal was there too.. yep.. after dinner played 1 game of UNO.. haha! oh well.. went home after that.. =)

The Last Stretch

today went to study with crystal.. yep.. at Jurong library.. yup.. did my POA and History.. yea yea! haha! so fast time flies and its almost all over.. yea.. new things come, old things go.. just wish i could stop at a certain time.. and make it last forever.. :)

This morning woke up this morning and had tuition, POA.. yea... with susu.. yea.. :P haha! oh well.. then later went to church.. yea.. tried to do my history but didnt do much.. yea.. was there talking cock.. then Miss Eliza Soh.. make me eat some piece of flavour thing for the potato chips.. to think i trusted her man.. haha! it was super salty lar.. haha! can die.. Eliza! u watch out man.. :P haha! oh well.. after CrossLink went to PS with Amos and Elroi.. yea.. and i bought a jacket there man.. gonna wear on grad night.. yep... going off now.. nite nite..

Maths!

today's maths is easy man.. hope i no careless man.. haha! oh well.. susu's at my house now.. staying over.. :P haha! got POA tuition tmr.. oh well.. cya..

Funny Stuff

Went to PS and met eliza and elroi today.. yea.. went to eat lunch then went elroi's house.. haha! so funny.. eliza was playing the fighting game for like the whole afternoon lor.. :P i was sitting there and watching.. played 1 game of RA2.. yea.. so easy 1.. oh well.. then went home.. haha! studied then talking now.. yea.. oh well.. tmr maths paper.. must do my best.. :)

Physics

Physics paper today was super easy!!! Easy until cannot easy.. haha! dunno only one question.. haha! yay! oh well.. had english paper also.. yea.. was ok.. yea.. then went for tuition later.. yea.. then went home.. talk to Eliza the whole night.. long talk.. so funny.. haha! and she did for me my new sig.. accidentally.. so nice right? now talking to ethel and lucy.. yea.. :)

Chemistry

Chemistry today was super easy man.. haha! so easy until cannot easy.. but i think i made a lot of careless.. haiz.. oh well.. whats done is done.. I'll leave the rest to God.. tmr is English and Physics.. =) I'm all ready for physics.. for english the topic comes out something i can write.. yea.. i can write everything.. its just how well its written.. oh well.. And all the best to those who are those in the midst of O lvl or A lvl now, all the best! Haha! Was talking to Eliza and Lucy just now.. wish I were enjoying myself like they are man.. oh well.. must perservere.. I'm almost there.. =)

I Thank God

Its a few hours to my O lvls.. and i would like to thank God for a few things..

First, I want to thank God for all the little signs He gives me that reminds me that He is in control and I need not worry. I want to Thank God also for my Mom.. She cares in a way i sometimes cant understand.. I want to also thank God for my friends around me.. I thank God for Melissa for always being there for me and just being my jie.. I thank God for Crystal for helping me in times of need and also giving me tuition.. =P I thank God for Lucy for just being there behind me.. I thank God for Elroi for all the weird/funny things he does.. I thank God for Ethel for being there to listen to all my stuff all the time.. I thank God for Eliza who also listens to all my stupid stuff and also, after what I did wrong, she still forgives me and in that reminded me of The peace of God.. The peace of God which allows me to be at complete rest.. I Thank You Lord, For being God..

Esther lead worship today.. she read the chapter from Psalm.. I'm really afraid.. So many things I'm unsure of.. And its easier said than done to trust God totally.. I know i havent been exactly doing everything i can for the pass 10 years of my life.. I only can do so much is the last few hours..

ACJC J1 Student

went to ACJC today.. yea.. haha! Crystal brought me in.. yea.. just got pass the gaurd so easily.. oh well.. studied there with Crystal and Jonk.. yea.. was good.. did quite a lot of stuff.. yea.. later after lunch met jie and pam belly doreen darren terrence etc.. yea.. haha! did more work there also.. like at 4 i followed jie to holland coz she wanted to buy flowers for her teachers who were sick.. yea.. came back and did a bit more work.. yea.. then played bball.. was such a good work out.. really loved it.. yea.. gonna have to study soon again..yea.. talking to the mean eliza.. haha! not mean actually.. haha! she going to beach and play lar.. haiz.. then leave me to take exam in 2 days and few hours.. haiz.. oh well.. wat are friends for.. :P

A chance of a lifetime!

This morning I went to Jurong library at 10.. yea.. when it opens.. quite crowded already.. had to sort of rush in to get a good table.. yea.. went there myself first.. coz susu woke up late.. yea.. i finished all my maths b4 he came.. oh well.. yea.. later sam chan also came.. after a while i went to eat lunch and went of tuition.. tuition was the usual.. yea.. i was tired but my mind was just in a state where i wasnt thinking abt anything at all.. i dunnno y.. but suddenly this thought came to my mind..



Ever heard people say, "Go for this holiday! Its a chance of a lifetime.." or, "XYZ School has accepted you! Dont miss this chance of a lifetime.."? I was thinking.. why do we always so do not miss, "what ever good thing", when we still miss the greatest "chance of a lifetime"? I think the Ultimate "Chance of a Lifetime", is life itself.. Your whole life is 1 single chance.. A chance to go with The Creator, or against Him.. To all Christians out there.. We should show that we have taken that "Chance", and that we chose to follow Him.. We must share this Good News..
