I was asked to shoot for it. Yep. (: I think I did look a bit dumb with a small camera on a tripod. Haha! But who cares, as long my shots are nice. (: Haha! Cheryl called me Ron again. -.- Vanessa was really crazy, as usual. Both of them keep wanting to use my camera. :P Grace didn't smile on stage like she smiles off stage. tsk tsk. Haha! Oh well. Fun lar. (: Haiz. So fast over. From like see all of them every week to won't see them for a long long time. Oh well. Here are some of the pics.

things i liked:
1)excellent 1st shot - the one with the MGS and the cross
2)great B&W conversion for the stage
3)the shot with the 4 girls in yellow and bright light in the centre is another good shot IMHO
4)the one with the hand on the KORG is a common concept, but nevertheless a good try. perhaps try it in B&W to focus the attention on the hand itself. try cropping away the blurred part
5)good composition for the pic with the girl in brown on the left, and a bright light on the right. (4th row, 2nd pic from left)
good group shots and stage shots. but some of your individual shots tend to have your subject smack in the centre. don't forget the basic rule of thirds for composition. but there are too many repetitive shots. there are about 20 plus shots with the same thing, same focus, same subject. try to zoom in on the action. capture facial expressions. capture abstracts of equipment on stage. capture emotions and atmosphere.
for e.g. since you cannot achieve significant background blur, you could have captured hands raised, then converted to B&W thereafter to fix the focus on the hands. or perhaps use macro mode and take across the drumsets, leaving the drummer in a slight blur.
don't be afriad to get right down on your belly or climb on stuff to get different angles. some shots could have been taken with you lying down shooting up for a different perspective.
lastly, i feel pics that are repetitive should be deleted to enhance the viewing experience of viewers. people get tired scrolling thru repetitive pics. choose maybe 10-20 of your best to show. tell a story perhaps. add captions.
overall a good try. (: wished i could have been there, but had a play on that day. heh. some equipment limitations nevertheless on your part, but a good knowledge of what you can and cannot do with your equipment will get you far.
