Intellectualism in Church

I just read shangjun's post about the prevalence of intellectualism in Church. I totally agree with it. The youth is really lacking in the emotional side of experiencing God. I'm sure that God will make a way for us. The only thing now is that are we ready to avail ourselves

Drums, Favian's Birthday

Today had the drum & bass workshop in church. Uncle Chee Seng organized it. (: Steven and Yu Khing came and teach. (: I remember the last time they came and teach I was quite cocky. You know? Like think I already know everything. Yea. But this time, I made a point not to be like that. And I learned stuff today! (: Firstly, I learned that I'm not that precise with my beats. Second, I can do I have a bigger picture of how to tune. Well yea, thats 2 things among other stuff. yep. It was good. (: Anyway, after that went to favian's house for his birthday party. Haha! Fun lar. Talk cock, sing song, eat cake, etc. (: Yep. Favian, You are now 21. (:

Church Camp 2007

Finally get a chance to blog! Came back from church camp yesterday. (: It was fun. (: Had time to bond with friends. (: Been a long time since I got a chance to do that. Lets see where to begin. (:

First day was a long trip there. Around 5 hours. Slept most of it. In between had like 2 stops. One for pissing, and the other for lunch. (: The lunch was good. I didn't expect it to be that good. (: Check in was quite long though. Elroi, Lucy and I didn't get room until super late. The hotel was still trying to clear the rooms for us. But it was a blessing in disguise. We got a suite. :D Nice. Yep. 3 of us helped for the first theme talk that night.

On the 2nd day, woke up late. Missed breakfast. The good thing was the Free & Easy time we had after lunch. (: Elroi, Lucy, Leonard and I went to KL city. Lucy's cousin brought us there. Went to shop. Though we hardly bought anything. Haha! We bought headphones! Sennheiser Headphones man. Powerful, but expensive. It was worth around S$150. Haha! but was worth the money. (: Yep. Had seafood dinner after that. Super nice, and we didn't pay for it. (:

3rd day! Had theme talk in the morning again. Then lunch. After lunch had group bonding time, which we used to do the small item each group was suppose to do. Uncle Chee Seng came up with the super lame skit! Couldn't be more lame. haha! Lucky all I had to do was play the guitar. haha! (: Oh well. Anyway, had indoor games after that. Quite fun lar. Yea. After dinner was the items from each group. Lucy, elroi, huili & jiamin were the host. (: Haha! I was with gerald, gloria, leonard, vicky, val, seth watching the things. Damn funny lar. Some group did some song that really sounded like a communist anthem. Haha! (: Yea. talk a lot of cock. After all that, it was time to party! (: haha! Basically almost all the youth came to our room. (: Damn fun lar. Play stupid games and stuff, and ethel farted! :D haha! They watched Hide & Seek on tv after all that. I fell asleep half way, but was like half asleep the whole way. :P

Last day had sharing but wasn't there. Went to check out early to beat the queue. Oh well. The trip back was long. Slept most of it again. (: Oh! after that at night went to airport to pick james up. (:

Yep. Church camp wasn't as fun as the others, but it was good as it like let me be away from the usual world for a while. Yea. And, bonded with the younger friends more. (: Anyway, I'll upload the pics later. (:

Formatting

Yesterday went over to eliza's house to format her com. Spent like 4 hours there on her com. Haha! I think because I was watching tv half the time. :P Oh well. Ate dinner there then went home. Went home and format my laptop. :D I switch back from vista to xp. Yep. so no compatibility issues for now, and it also runs faster. seeing that xp doesn't use as much RAM as vista. (: Anyway, tomorrow is church camp and I still haven't packed anything. (:

Singapore DrumFest 2007

Today was good. The worship in youth was good. (: Really touched by God. Anyway, after that went to suntec to go drumfest! WHoo hoo! First ever Drumfest in singapore. It was so good. Jimmy Lee, Tony Royster Jr, Gorden Campbell, Jojo Mayer & Nate Morton performed. Super good lar. Argh. A bit demoralizing when seeing Tony Royster Jr play. oh well. (: Some people are just so good. Gorden Campbell plays like some christian music also. Should hear his church version of Open The Eyes of my Heart. Good man.

Chalet and Fun

Whoo hoo! long week! Thursday after school went to sentosa with nigel, jiamin, sunny. Was ok lar. :P after that went to the chalet somewhere in changi. Somehow james led us round in circles. haha! But we found our way there in the end. Yep. Stayed 2 nights at the chalet. First night, met sharon's friends and just play game, talk cock. haha! 2nd night was for sharon's class. Had fun man. lucy, elroi, eliza, ethel, kim were there and we did stupid things. haha! (: Yea. Watch elroi kick the fire, after we made it with fire starters and threw the lighter into it. (:

Speed Coding

Today had WAD CA. haha! (: loved it man. All I had to do was to create a program to store patient information for a hospital. It was easy. The challenge was doing it in the given time. (: really rush rush. First time I written an application in such a short time. With validation and all. (: Happy happy. (:

Yep. Today is just a normal day. This is my last week of school. (: Before a 2 week break. Yep. Anyway, went for LoveMG prac in the evening. So many never come. lol! Didn't really practice much. (:

Crazy sunday

Played for YM this week again. (: Didn't go super well, but thanks to God's grace it still went well. (: After that went to PC fair at suntec. Wasn't that good. glori just her notebook. Oh well. Anyway, went to MGS after that. The band picked some crazy, hyper, songs. :P haha! Good thing Daniella not hard to teach. (: In the evening went for crystal's performance. (: super good! Especially evan's voice. I knew it was good, but didn't know that it was that good. (: Met daniel there also. (: Oh well. I could feel the presence of God the whole of today. It's really good.

Pirates

Had Comm meeting today. We decided quite a lot of stuff. Long time since we did. Yep. Had lunch with elroi and lucy before that. My bros man. (: Oh well. Went to watch pirates in the evening. Loved it. Anyway, Gotta wake up early tomorrow. Playing for worship tomorrow morning.
